Dear bloggie,

I know I've abandoned you for a very very long time..Now I'm back here to post something before I start mugging again for my finals. Well, lots of things have happened throughout these 12 weeks. I just can't believe that twelve weeks just flew past like that. :( There are many good and bad memories that I'll definitely remember. Why is life so unfair? Just as I've found you, and then I realize it's impossible.. Luck's just not on my side I feel..

Another thing which is both Wow and Sobs for me is that I got the full offer to Monash Clayton in Melbourne. And, I've already submitted my acceptance form and settled my payments to them. The annoying thing is that I've been waiting high and low for my conditional offer from Uni of Melbourne...all my friends have already received theirs way before I did, so I thought to myself perhaps I got rejected by them..so, without hesitating, I decided to accept Clayton instead..and the day after, guess what? Stupid Uni of Melbourne FINALLY sent their offer to me. WHY MUST THEY SEND IT TO ME AFTER I'VE ACCEPTED CLAYTON?! well,maybe it's fated for me to go clayton instead... I'm definitely gonna miss every single person and thing here that made my life meaningful for these 20years. It's never gonna be the same again over there..Starting everything anew, making new friends all over again when I've just begun to become so close with my current university group of friends which I call my family here :) I'm definitely gonna miss you guys so so so much! Well, I guess thats all for now. Will continue updates after my exam most probably. :) Love you guys!

Semester 2 of uni has started for a week. And many things have happened lately. Have been feeling down for the past 2 days..and busy with study and work. CNS. and etc. But today, a good friend which I've not met for a very long time, bumped into me in the cafeteria. First thing he saw me, he opened up his arms and hugged me. It's been soo long that I've ever hugged someone lately. It felt really good and I realized how powerful that hug was. A hug can really release all your burden and sorrow. So, hug a friend like she/he means the world to you! :)

Taylor Swift - Back To December

This song has been released for quite some time. But I still think that this is the best Taylor Swift song on my list. The lyrics are ever so meaningful every single time I listen to this song. Perhaps, it just reminds me of some things in the past. Well, hope you guys enjoy it! :)

Chinese New Year was awesome, but the not-so-awesome part was the number of angpows. I just felt that THE OLDER I GREW, THE LESSER ANGPOWS I RECEIVED!! Gosh, this doesn't sound so good :( And I haven't been blogging lately, cause nothing much has happened though. Plus my laziness, haha, I was not in the mood for blogging recently as well. Actually, not only that, it's also because I've been hooked onto the english series 'Private Practice' :D Finally yesterday I had the determination to clean up my cabinet yesterday which was filled with all my stuffs. And, with a heavy heart, I disposed so many items but it has done good to my cabinet as it looks much neater and cleaner now. Hehe. While packing, I have this 'Box of the Past'.. And I, thereby, took out this 5-year-old letter to read which never fails to move my heart every single time I read it. I didn't have the heart to throw the items in that box, so I just folded back that letter and closed the lid of the box and placed it back to where it belonged. That's my story for the day :)

Hey!! It's the Chinese New Year's eve today and I can't wait for the family reunion and gathering!!! It's gonna be so awesomee ! :) But the main purpose of this blog post is not going to be about the new lunar year but about a quote that I've read from my bestfriend's blog. It's really meaningful if you read between those lines. So, here I am posting it on my blog to share with all you readers out there :)

troubled

Many things have occurred for the past few days..and it's not very convenient for me to talk about it here..well, I just hope that everything goes on well as Chinese New Year will be here in just two days.. All I pray for now is peace and harmony.. But one thing that I've learnt is You are on your own no matter what happens, be it bad or good. In the end of the day, you can only trust yourself and make the crucial decisions all by yourself and nobody else no matter how close you could be with the other. I shall not continue further, so have a Prosperous and Wonderful Chinese New Year to all who are celebrating :) 

Back to school!

Hey guys! I'm finally back from my medical break. Had been under the weather for the past few days as it all started with a terrible cold, which led to cough. But now i'm 70% recovered though. Still needed the rest. Despite the weakness in me as a result of this, I got myself to school today after such a long time! Helped out with the music girls with their music performance for this coming occasion this Saturday in Jaya Jusco. 

TRADIMODE of SMC will be performing at Kinta City main concourse area at 8.00pm in collaboration with the Chinese New Year celebration on Saturday (29/1).

You'll never regret attending! :) Do come and support us!

It's been awesome being able to meet Pn Florina and Miss Lau at school today! And thank you so much Miss Lau for the 'nga choi gai' treat at Onn Kee today! :) I'll definitely repay you with a nice treat as you've promised to come visit me in Melbourne next day :) After lunch, Yen Chiew, Pn Florina and I headed to the accessories and textile shop (Kamdar) to get the things for the dancers' costumes and head gears! Wootz, it's been a long time since I've done this. Let me see, roughly about 2 years??? Gawd, I miss performing for Tradimode! Playing the Cak Lempung and other instruments today at the chapel was heaven! And tomorrow I'll be going back to chapel as well to start off with the head gear decorations together with Yen and teacher. :) Hopefully everything goes well and the girls would look their prettiest this Saturday! :)

POOPY BABADOO

Badminton today with Yen Chiew and her bunch of friends :) Kind of fun though. And its quite fun playing with the pros.LOL. ;) And thanks for creating those AWKWARD MOMENTS throughout the whole time! Urgh! Hahaha. So after the game, 4 of us headed to Stadium for breakfast. (: Had a nice chat though. Although time didn't permit much, I still managed to have some girl talk with Yen a bit :D Lovess

Yesterday, today.

Yesterday had been another day of girl talk! It's so fun talking with YiePing, JacLyn and YenMei. :) Glad meeting you guys at our usual hangout place, Old Town White Coffee. Lols! Really looking forward to meeting you guys again during Chinese New Year! Faster come please, Chinese New Year!!

Today, went to the railway station to get three train tickets for uni friends who were going back to KL. :) And guess what? They bought me a box of 'Tau Sah Peng' @ bean biscuit. How sweet of them!! Thank youu soo much guys!! You don't know how I go all crazy when I see and eat this biscuit. Hahaha. It's my all-time favourite biscuit since I was a young kid :D Hoping to see you all back in Sunway at the end of next month!! Love you guys!!

wootz!

Today had been a day of surprise :D While I was baking my orange butter cake at noon, I received a phone call from Lee Chen, which is extremely unfamiliar. hahaha. On the other side, she told me that they were heading over to my place, and I was shocked indeed upon hearing that. Because as I know, they were going to Penang today :) So, in the end, they came to my house, along with SockTeng [boss driver], LeeChen[kaki], professor Kha Jiet, Melvin and JinHern :) Then we took them for lunch at Onn Kee's to savour the chicken bean sprout rice/noodle :) Hope you guys loved it! :) And then back to my house for some light refreshments and relaxation, before they started their journey to Penang. hehe. Really had a good time catching up with you guys after a month or so :) Hopefully ya'll have loads of fun there!! See you guys real soon :)

Mother & Daughter Day Out

It's a Friday, marking the end of the week! After our morning walk today, Mom and I went to Ipoh Parade for a movie. Since I had a voucher won from the management presentation in Uni, its validity is till today. Furthermore, my mom also had a GSC ticket voucher. It'd better not go to waste, so we headed for the newly released movie- Faster, starring Dwayne Johnson [The Rock]. It's not bad though, except for the gruesome and cold-blooded killing and shooting. :/

Before the movie, we still had some time. So I went hunting for a new pair of black heels as my current one has started to wear out. Thank goodness I've found a pretty one here :) Thank you mommy! She, knowing that I'm extremely choosy and fickle-minded when it comes to buying things especially clothings and shoes, quickly schemed through the row of heels and found me this pair. It caught my eye though. It's beautiful :)

Lalala~

Finally I manage to get my ass up early these few days. Got up at 6.45am to go for my morning walk with Mom and Dad :) It's quite of an accomplishment though. hahaha. a Minor one. :P And so, I've been doing nothing much really at home. Hence, I thought of baking a cake maybe tomorrow or another day. But firstly, I need to get all my ingredients. Orange butter cake's what I intend to bake. I know it'll be a successful one cause I'm the one baking it. hahaha. :D But if anyone purges after eating it, don't point your finger at me kay? You ate it at your own risk!! Haha. To my uni mates, have fun and enjoy yourselves in the Penang trip tomorrow! :) Sorry that I won't be able to join in the fun though. Will be eager to meet all of you again in March! :) Loves.

New look (:

As you can see from the pictures, that is the new flower arrangement in the house for a new look during Chinese New Year I suppose :) It's beautifully arranged by my Dad. I'm really amazed every time he decorates the flowers. It's like, how does he know which type of flower to put first? Where should it be put?

Reminiscing the old times, when I was a kid who went to Tenby Kindergarten every morning, I would follow my dad to Regina first thing in the morning before going to school. I would observe my dad and granduncle arrange the flowers requested by the customers. For your information, Regina is a florist shop just opposite Main Convent and Ipoh Parade :) 

I really hoped that I could have his talent as florist. LOL. It would be amazing. 

Knowing the skills of flower arrangement is simply awesome :) 

Confidence strikes

All these years I've been battling with this word- CONFIDENCE. All I can say that it is a really powerful word that can change one's way of life. And recently, I've come across several quotes which contain this word as well. And I believe that if one thoroughly read behind the lines of these phrases, your confidence level could be boosted to the maximum level. That is what I felt after analyzing these quotes for some time. :) And I'm glad that these quotes popped right up to me at my face at the right time. For instance,

"I always believe that a woman will be pretty no matter what she wears or dresses if she knows how to carry herself well and confidently. No amount of designer dresses can be put on you to make you pretty if you are not confident of yourself. Each is gifted by God and each has their own unique body shape, it is how you complement your personality with your external appearance that makes you attractive" -Bernard Chandran

This quote especially has given me such a deep impression that no matter if we are ugly or pretty, it doesn't really matter. The most vital element that everyone of us need to possess is Self-Confidence. :) So, always believe in yourself-your capabilities, self-esteem, instincts and most importantly what your heart says. It may not be always right, your heart that I'm referring to, but most of the time it is. So all you beautiful ladies out there, don't be shy or embarrassed with your looks, external appearance or figure, instead you should be thankful and grateful to God and parents for presenting you,a precious gift-to the world. :) Just put up your self-confidence to the highest level and walk right through :) This similarly applies to all you handsome gentlemen out there too :)

I admit that I used to be a very timid and shy person when I was younger. But as years passed, daily life experiences have definitely played their roles in moulding me into a more outgoing and outspoken person. And I definitely need to thank my family and friends for this :) I'm not perfect yet, but I'll try my very best to be the person I dream to be - a young lady who would walk through her life with full of confidence :) I hope that this message brought to you will at least ignite the light in you :)
